Who We Are

Stress and anxiety affect health. Knowing that changes everything.

The Eric Palmer Memorial Foundation was created to recognize the effects of emotional stress on health and wellness — and to do something about it. We fund and deliver education that reaches parents, caregivers and children where they already are: in schools, at community events and online.

Our work honours Eric Palmer by turning a family’s loss into practical support for other families.

  • Raise awareness of the effects of emotional stress and anxiety on the health and wellness of children
  • Provide educational opportunities for parents, caregivers and children — free of charge
  • Connect families with resources for children experiencing emotional stress and anxiety
  • Build community through events that bring families, schools and neighbours together

“Recognizing the effects of emotional stress on health — that’s the work. Every parent who learns the signs, every teacher who knows what to do next, is a family that gets help sooner.”
